Biography
Julien Giami is a French photographer, currently based in Paris.
An expert in Visual Effects, he has notably worked on Ridley Scott's "The Last Duel," Jean-Jacques Annaud's "Notre Dame Brûle".
Passionate about imagery in all its forms, he has always taken photos on a personal basis before pursuing a clearer and more determined ambition: to publish a photography book that would highlight the coherence of his work and be accompanied by literary texts to further stimulate the reader's imagination. The release of the book was accompanied by an exhibition at the Espace Bertrand Grimont.
The photographs compiled in "Strates" his first book, are from several journeys and share a sedimentary, majestic, and above all lively vision, through the movement they evoke, of natural landscapes in which humans seem vulnerable.
He has also been featured in the latest issue of the artistic and literary magazine "Possession Immediate XII."
